Hi, I’m Camila Manrique
Founder of Mindful Motion Counseling LLC
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and pursued graduate training in Sport Psychology through Ithaca College. As a former collegiate athlete and coach, I have a strong passion for athlete mental health. I have also received extensive training in perinatal and infant mental health.
I believe therapy is a collaborative, strength-based journey. There is no one-size-fits-all model, each person brings unique experiences, values, and resilience. In my work, I lean into this by creating a space that is warm and non-judgmental, where you are invited to explore your thoughts and feelings with curiosity and compassion. My approach integrates mind–body awareness with evidence-based mental health practices, grounded in respect, curiosity, and cultural humility.
A NOTE ON CULTURE & LANGUAGE
I am proud to offer therapy in English and Spanish, supporting bilingual, bicultural, and Latinx individuals and families with sensitivity and respect.
